Love this video! It really puts into perspective the world our students are growing up in. Will we be able to keep the educational environment relevant in the middle of this social revolution?
My favorite line from the video: “Social Media is not a fad, it’s a fundamental shift in the way we communicate.” I struggle with being in a teaching environment with educators who still don’t even use email, let alone technology! I try to understand their fear, but they are doing a disservice to the students they teach. If you are not learning, how can your students?
